The 1st circumnavigation of the Earth (century XVI), started and led by the portuguese navigator Fernão de Magalhães and finished by the spanish Sebastián Elcano, was as historic and scientific expedition that changed the history of humanity and the western vision of the world forever.

Of great visual and educational richness, this map represents, with chronological and geographic detail, the main moments of the heroic voyage, since the departure, 1519, until the return, three years later, in 1522.
